Tupos Youth Ministry

The mission of our youth ministry is to make an impact in our world.  The word Tupos is a Greek noun that actually has two meanings.  First, it’s used to mean an example; a pattern for another person to follow.  Secondly, it means the point of impact; a mark or an impression left on one object by another.  The word Tupos would have been used in metal working and making coins.  The metal would have been placed into molds with the image or face on them.  Then it would have been struck repeatedly to impress that image into the metal.  The Tupos was both the impact made and the example followed.  Our students in our youth program learn the spiritual skills necessary to be a Tupos in their life.
