Women's Ministries

Our Ladies Small Group Bible Study meets each week to study a variety of discipleship material for personal growth and development. This group meets Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. A nursery is provided for this study so don’t let the little ones hold you back.

W.E.M. (Women’s Enrichment Ministries) is a great way to meet new women and have a part of many different aspects of reaching others for God’s Kingdom.

Each of these groups have a terrific sense of mission and ministry to reach out in our community.

Senior Adult Ministry

Just because you are retired does not mean the Lord is through with you! Our senior adults are a busy crew. Our B.A.L.L. (Be Active, Live Longer) Group meets monthly for informative and entertaining programs followed by a wonderful covered dish luncheon on the first Monday of each month. The fun begins at 11:00 a.m. Many day trips, as well as the annual pilgrimage to Branson, are just some of their activities. The Joy Gospel Choir enjoys singing some great old favorites. They meet for rehearsal every Sunday afternoon at 4:30 with a break for the summer months.

Prayer Ministry

If God has taught the members of First Baptist Church one thing - it’s that prayer is important and prayer works! That is a lesson we put into action every day. The Prayer Chain is a vital link for many of our women who are willing to pray for needs as soon as they are known. We also have a Prayer room where our members come to intercede for others needs Monday through Saturday from 5:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. each day. There is a Prayer Line available as well that is open 24 hours a day at 756-2836.
